Building It
Takes about 10 hours per piece. Visor makes it more complicated than regular ushanka. Need rigid insert keeping bill shape even when temperature drops way below zero. Leather covering protecting that insert from weather. Connection joining visor to crown without showing seams from outside.
Finding brown pelts matching across whole hat already takes selective work. Then adding structural visor element needing precise attachment – where crown meets visor, where bill edges end – everything has to line up clean and stay solid.
Visor can't wobble around. Has to look like it belongs there from the start, not glued on later. If structure gets loose or insert bends, whole point of having visor disappears.

Sizing details

Finding a hat that fits well starts with knowing your head size. To measure your head circumference, use a soft tape measure. Wrap it around your head, just above your ears and eyebrows, exactly where your hat will sit.
Make sure the tape measure goes over the widest part of your head, ensuring it's not too tight. You don't want to end up with a hat that's too snug! If your measurement falls between sizes, it's typically best to go up to the nearest centimeter for a comfortable fit.
Remember, everyone's head shape is unique and the perfect fit can vary between different hat styles or brands. Armed with your precise head measurement, you'll be well on your way to finding your new favorite hat.

Care instructions

When you first receive your fur hat, it may have been compressed during shipping. Don't worry; your hat just needs a bit of care to return to its original splendor. Start by shaking it gently to fluff up the fur. If needed, you can use a wide-toothed comb or a brush with soft bristles to detangle and smooth the fur, but always remember to follow the natural direction of the hair, to avoid damage.

Once you've given it a good fluff, hang your hat in a well-ventilated, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to allow it to fully recover and breathe. Don't rush this process - it may take a couple of days for the hat to regain its shape fully. And there you have it - your beautiful, fluffy fur hat is ready to wear and impress!
